Shareholder
 Leon has been a shareholder in McDaniel
& Associates since 1986 after working with the firm since 1974. He
graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from Troy State University and
received his Certified Public Accountant Certificate in 1977. With over
30 years of experience, Leon specializes in income tax, audit, and
estates and trusts. He has also been instrumental in developing our
construction and banking niches.
He is a member of the AICPA and the Alabama Society of Certified
Public Accountants. Leon has also completed the requirements to
designated as a Construction Industry Technician (CIT). He currently
serves as the Houston County Chairman of the Wiregrass United Way and
is a past treasurer. Leon is also on the board of Westgate Christian
School and a member of the Dothan Board of Realtors Task Force.
His hobbies include golf and woodworking. He and his wife Kathy
(Lanman) are active members of Westgate Church of Christ and they have
two sons and two granddaughters.
